Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic made from the polymerisation of propylene, with good electrical insulation, chemical resistance, heat resistance (although not as good as some high-temperature plastics), tensile strength and impact resistance.
According to the latest version of ISO 15874-2-2013 international standards
Polypropylene hot and cold water pipes can be divided into four main PP-H, PP-B, PP-R and PP-RCT, and this order can also be seen as an iterative order of the product, the comprehensive performance of more and more strong, but also each have their own strengths, the following to be introduced:
First, PP-H pipe plastic pipe extrusion line (commonly known as type I polypropylene)
Introduction: PPH pipe (Polyproplyene-Homo homopolymer polypropylene pipe), commonly known as Type I polypropylene, is the ordinary PP material for beta modification, so that it has a uniform and delicate Beta crystal structure.

Features: Excellent chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, good insulation, high temperature resistance, the working temperature can reach 100 ℃, non-toxic, light weight, this is a high quality amount of products than PP pipe high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging.
Usage: PPH pipe materials have excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance, so they are commonly used in high temperature water transport systems, such as hot water supply, heating systems, and corrosive chemical industry piping systems.
Second, PP-B pipe (commonly known as type II polypropylene)
Introduction: PP-B pipe is made of block copolymer polypropylene, commonly known as Type II polypropylene, PP-B contains a high content of ethylene copolymer, giving PP-B pipe higher low-temperature impact resistance, so that it can still maintain the toughness of the low-temperature environment, is not easy to rupture or become brittle.

Features: PP-B typically loses some of its high temperature properties compared to other polypropylene types. This is because the presence of ethylene copolymers lowers the melting point of PP-B, so it does not tolerate high temperatures as well as PP-H.
Use: PP-B pipe is commonly used in piping systems for supplying cold and general temperature water, such as tap water supply systems for building, residential and commercial purposes. It is also used in the chemical industry for piping systems used to transport a variety of non-corrosive chemicals, acids, alkalis and solvents.
Note: PP-B is usually not suitable for applications that require the handling of high-temperature w ater or chemicals, as it may soften or lose its mechanical properties at high temperatures.
Third, PP-R pipe (commonly known as Type III polypropylene)
Introduction:PP-R (polypropylene random) pipe, also known as tripropylene polypropylene pipe, random copolymer polypropylene pipe, is a kind of pipe using random copolymer polypropylene as raw material.

Third, PP-R pipe (commonly known as Type III polypropylene)
Introduction: PP-R (polypropylene random) pipe, also known as tripropylene polypropylene pipe, random copolymer polypropylene pipe, is a kind of pipe using random copolymer polypropylene as raw material.

Features: It neutralises the advantageous properties of PP-H and PP-B, which can withstand certain high temperatures and improve the low-temperature impact resistance, as well as possessing better creep resistance, making it a more desirable, piping raw material that can be widely used in hot and cold water systems.
Use: Cold and hot water systems of buildings, heating systems, and pure water supply systems.
