Four major differences between PVC drainage pipe A and pipe B

Choosing pipe A or pipe B is a common problem when people purchase PVC pipes,  but few people can tell clearly for the specific difference between them.

The following is a summary of four differences for your reference:

1. Different standards

Pipe A: Pipe A adopts the national standard GB/T 5836.1-2018 (rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipe standard for building drainage), which is a national standard pipe;
Pipe B: Pipe B adopts the enterprise standard and is the enterprise standard pipe;

2. Different thicknesses

Pipe A: The wall thickness of pipe A is thicker, such as the wall thickness of 50mm pipe is 2.0mm, the wall thickness of 75mm pipe is 2.3mm, the wall thickness of 110mm pipe is 3.2mm, the wall thickness of 160mm pipe is 4.0mm, the wall thickness of 200mm pipe is 4.9mm, etc.
Pipe B: The wall thickness of pipe B is thinner, such as the wall thickness of 50mm pipe is 1.8mm, the wall thickness of 75mm pipe is 2.0mm, the wall thickness of 110mm pipe is 2.8mm, and the wall thickness of 160mm pipe is 3.0mm.

3. Different price

Pipe A: Pipe A has better materials,more wall thickness, higher strength, and higher price;
Pipe B: Pipe B has higher calcium powder content,more slightly wall thickness, slightly worse strength, and cheaper price;

4. Different usages

Pipe A: Pipe A is usually used for engineering drainage and exhaust with high requirements, and is rarely used in households.
Pipe B: Pipe B is mostly for engineering drainage, exhaust and household use with relatively low requirements;
