What is GAG sheet?
GAG is a three-layer composite sheet produced by co-extruding the middle layer of APET and the upper and lower layers of PETG raw materials in an appropriate proportion. It is especially suitable for packaging boxes that need to be bonded by high-frequency heat sealing and glue.

Features of GAG sheet:
1. Good transparency, the transparency can reach more than 90%, good texture, suitable for products requiring high transparency.
2. Excellent impact resistance and rigidity, the material is hard and durable, suitable for applications with high impact resistance.
3. Excellent processability, can be processed by sawing, die-cutting, drilling and laser cutting, etc., can also be cold-formed and hot-formed, adhered, welded and polished, printed and painted; and cold-formed without whitening, the appearance is bright.
4. Good thermoformability, can be formed without preheating, high precision, shrinkage rate is about 0.5%; good deep formability, no cracking and uniform thickness.
5. Excellent food hygiene, the material is PETG, which can meet all major food regulations.
6. Environmental protection, can be recycled and used without polluting the environment.
7. It is hard, tough, and high-strength. According to different raw material suppliers, it is generally divided into two types: white light and blue light. Main ingredients: polyethylene terephthalate, environmental protection, can use high frequency heat sealing. But the cost is higher.



The sheet suitable for blister packaging of products requiring high transparency is called hard sheet or film.
Commonly used are:
PET hard sheet,
PVC hard sheet,
PS hard sheet.

–PET hard sheethas good toughness, high transparency, is easy to burn, and does not produce harmful gas when burned. It is an environmentally friendly material, but the price is high, and it is suitable for high-end plastic products.
– PVC hard sheet has moderate toughness and is not easy to burn. It will produce chlorine gas when burned, which will have a certain impact on the environment. PVC is easy to heat seal, and can be sealed with a sealing machine and a high-frequency machine. It is the main raw material for the production of transparent plastic products.
– PS hard sheet has low density, poor toughness, and is easy to burn. It will produce styrene gas (hazardous gas) when burned, so it is generally used to produce various industrial plastic trays.



1. GAG material is widely used. GAG film has good processing performance, low manufacturing cost, corrosion resistance, insulation and other good characteristics. The commonly used processing technology of GAG products is extrusion and injection molding.
2. The GAG board is a board made of GAG as a raw material with a honeycomb mesh structure in section. GAG film is a kind of vacuum blister film, which is used for the surface packaging of various panels, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film, and is used in many industries such as building materials, packaging, and medicine.
3. In the part of GAG production cost, GAG Film believes that the main factors affecting the price should consider the price and cost of coal, coke, electricity, calcium carbide, crude oil, ethylene, VCM, etc. In addition, the price of crude salt will also affect GAG through the value of chlorine. Prices are affected to a certain extent.
When processing many products, it is necessary to use GAG sheets to make products, and the blister packaging of some products we use may also be processed using GAG sheets.
